Absorb/Transmit Broadband Type Frequency Selective Surface

Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) are increasingly being used in telecommunications systems due to the numerous advantages presented by this sort of structure, among them low cost, ease fabrication, and profile stand out. This work reports design, characterization a multilayer frequency-selective absorber (FSA) for broadband operation. The proposed structure shows an absorption performance (operating frequency range between 2 GHz 6 GHz) within transmission band. consists cascaded selective surfaces, which composed both conductive square loops, reflect incident signals, resistive ones, act as absorbing layer. To verify performance, full-wave numerical simulations measurements presented. measured results good agreement with ones show that design performs above 80% 2.48 6.13 GHz, verifies project properties. Besides that, has proper response under oblique incidence up 30°.
